Cúig artists were invited to creatively explore themes of Space this Summer by CIT Blackrock Observatory as part of its ‘Summer of Space’ programme. The outcomes are a series of beautiful detailed drawings which are exhibited at Blackrock Observatory in conjunction with ‘Space Week’
The exhibition was opened by Orla Flynn, CIT on Fri 6th October
Cúig were also busy as part of ‘A Summer of Space 2017’, facilitating creative workshop with the public at Crawford Art Gallery in July. A special piece by Cúig artist Ailbhe Barrett was commissioned as a presentation piece to over 100 astronauts visiting Cork as part of ‘A Summer of Space’ at Cork County Hall in August.
